Plaster Ceiling Medallions & Coffers in Brooklyn, New York

A ceiling medallion turns the space around a chandelier or pendant light into a focal point. Castelle hand-casts plaster ceiling medallions in sizes from an intimate twelve inches to a grand six feet across, in classical rosette, acanthus, geometric and fully custom designs.

For rooms that need more architecture overhead, we design and build coffered and ribbed ceilings. Linear plaster ribbing, beams and recessed coffers add rhythm and depth to kitchens, dining rooms, entry halls and living rooms, and they can integrate recessed lighting for a soft, glowing effect.

Every medallion and coffer is cast in our Brooklyn workshop from premium gypsum plaster, which holds fine detail and takes paint beautifully. We coordinate with your electrician and general contractor so fixtures, junction boxes and ceiling structure are all accounted for before installation.

Our team installs medallions and coffered ceilings in apartments, townhouses and new construction across New York, New Jersey and Connecticut. Tell us about your ceiling and we will help you choose the right scale and style.
