Plaster Columns & Pilasters in Brooklyn, New York

Columns and pilasters bring classical proportion and presence to a room. Castelle crafts plaster columns, half columns and wall-mounted pilasters in our Brooklyn workshop, in Tuscan, Doric, Ionic and Corinthian orders or in custom designs drawn to your plans.

We build load-bearing wrap columns that conceal structural posts as well as purely decorative pieces for open-plan living spaces, entry halls and dining rooms. Each column is made with attention to correct proportions, entasis, capitals and bases so it looks authentic rather than applied.

Pilasters work beautifully flanking fireplaces, doorways, arches and built-in cabinetry, and they pair naturally with our crown moldings and wall panels. Plaster gives them a refined, substantial look that lighter materials cannot match.

We deliver and install columns and pilasters across New York, New Jersey and Connecticut. Tell us about your space and we will recommend the right order, scale and detailing.
